Bank holiday pool party! The weather is beautiful, the bbq is on and the drinks are flowing, what more could you ask for!?
This look is perfect for the poolside! My little cami dress is from Missguided, believe it or not I got it last winter to wear with thick tights and over chunky turtle neck jumpers – so I have done really well getting wear out of it in summer too! It looks so nice over the top of a bikini because the neck line is so low it creates this almost baggy look around your boobs, so shows off a bit of the bikini top. I’ve used a belt to pull the dress in and give me a bit of shape but you could equally just wear it loose and let the dress be floaty. My belt is from NastyGal, just a cheap boring £5 one! I do quite like a plain belt with some outfits though, I find that sometimes the glitz and glam ones are a bit too much and they can often make your outfit look cheap.

My bikini is from Topshop, I really like how bright it is and makes a bit of a statement, green is my new favorite colour now too after all! The fit is so nice, who doesn’t love a high waisted bottom??… Hides all your lumps and bumps and gives you this really curvy voluptuous figure! The balcony bikini top is so flattering and is such a lovely shape, all round just a really good purchase here! I choose to wear this bikini with the slip dress as it just gave a bit of colour and added something a bit extra to the monotone colours I wearing. Big bright and bold!
My shoes are from H&M, just some simple black buckled sandals. Really cute and a different alternative to wearing sliders round the pool, I got them for really cheap too! I think only £15? Would defiantly recommend as they are so comfy and easy to wear!
Short but sweet post, but hopefully has given you some inspiration for any future pool parties you might have this summer! Hope you like the look!
